The listing broker is not required to report anyone as a buyer’s agent that is not on the purchase agreement.
For the team lead to be reported as the buyer’s agent It is in your best interest for that information to be provided with the purchase agreement, giving the broker ample time to determine how they will report the buyer’s agent to the MLS. Even if you provide the listing broker this information, the listing broker is still not required to report it.
